King of The Beach 2021 is a fact! On the weekend of 12 and 13 June 2021, more than 80 teams from Overijssel and beyond competed for the title of King of The Beach 2021.
All this took place at Paal12 OMNI in Oldenzaal. An ABC youth tournament organised by Arcade Pollux in collaboration with Arcade Bouw Consult.
King of The Beach was not the usual 4 vs 4 volleyball game, but the game-like ‘King of The Court’ with not 2, but 5 teams on one court. A very dynamic and energetic game.
During King of the Beach 2021, there was an extensive entertainment programme that kept the children and young people well entertained. There was a real chill zone with crossnets, a course and Snapchat filters. DJ LuFire provided the right energy level during the tournament to keep everyone attentive.
Eredivisie beach volleyball player Stefan Boermans was also on site and provided a unique warm-up training. Afterwards, the real daredevils could compete with Stefan.
King of the Beach is here to stay, hopefully next year with a bigger
audience, more teams and even more entertainment!
